Your employees need more information than just your new address and when to show up there. At a minimum, your employees should know where to get information if someone asks them a question to which they don’t know the answer. Good communication with your employees is one of the key ways for you to reduce the negative impact of a move.
Finalising the Switchover
Expect moving day to be hectic and your focus to be on getting your employees working and your business running as soon as possible. You should make arrangements with communication and utility companies before moving day and know exactly when the switchover will take place. Plan for a day or two of overlapping utilities so that you have power and communications in both locations while you move.
